Highlights of 7th pay commission is out...Nurses to draw a decent salary from Jan 1, 2016
The most awaited highlights of 7th pay commission for central govt employees is out. The committee submitted its report on September 01, 2015 to the ministry of finance, Govt of India. These recommendations will be in effect from January 01, 2016 to January 01, 2026.
So everybody's expectation was too high, as this salary scale should be sufficient for the upcoming ten years.
Currently nurses are in Pay Band B ie 9300 - 34800 GP 4600 - 4800, Newly proposed pay for nurses is 40980 - 6% - 82080. As per this scale nurses can expect a decent amount of around Rs.75000/month.
The highlights of committee report is out. The old grade pay system is removed. New 13 scales are about to be implemented. HRA will be 25% in urban areas and 20% in rural areas irrespective of the city category to which the employee belongs.There will be only one annual increment of 6% in month of july every year.More informations regarding DA and other allowances, bonus etc is still not published.
